Then I walked into the grocery store and noticed some children outside asking me to purchase some cookies from them. By the time I left the store, I was asked to sign up for a credit card and also donate to a charity.” I felt like I left to grab a $20 item and spent an additional $20 in donations. I didn’t feel so bad for the giving, as much as, I did the lack of care for me as the customer.
Here I am only coming to buy this one item that I budgeted for, planned out, did all the research and knew I was making a good buy. I had time to think and rationalize my purchase.
